Failed Clinician Communication Messages

Failed messages can be viewed and actioned in the Sent folder in the Messages tile. These communications are identified by a failed icon .

To view and action failed messages:

  1. In the Messages tile, select Sent.

  2. Select the failed message.

  3. Select Detail.

  4. The Mail window opens, displaying the message details.

When detailed, a prompt displays the reason why the message failed.

Depending on the prompt:

  • The issue can be rectified and the message resent.

  • The message can be cancelled and the prescriber should be contacted via phone or fax.

  • If you are unable to rectify and resent the message, an IT ticket can be submitted for detailed or specific errors.
